Q. Who will deliver my balloons?
A. All our balloons are delivered by Royal Mail
Q. What time will my balloons be delivered?
A. Balloons being delivered by 1st class post will depend on the time your local postman does his round. If you choose to have your balloons delivered by Special Delivery or Saturday Special Delivery they are guaranteed to arrive by 1pm.
Q. My order has been confirmed but I need to change the address, will this be possible?
A. We are happy to make changes to your order providing the item has not yet been dispatched. We usually dispatch your balloons 1-2 days before your delivery date.
Q. Can I change the personal message on my balloon after my order has been confirmed?
A. We may be able to change the message providing the balloon has not been written. Please email us at orders@balloonsters.com as soon as possible with your request. If the balloon has already been written then your request can not be made and we will inform you.
Q. Can I send a balloon anonymously?
A. Yes. There is no information or receipt sent with your balloons. All invoices are sent via email to you therefore the recipient need never know whom it was from.
Q. Can foil balloons be released out in the open?
A. No, this is not recommended as the balloons are made of foil and may come into contact with electricity lines.
Q. How long do helium balloons last?
A. Helium balloons last on average 5-7 days after this time they may begin to shrink. They may continue to stay afloat for a further 8 days in this condition.
Q. How can I make my balloon look better for longer?
A. If your balloon is deflating you can place a straw in the self seal hole at the base of the balloon and inflate it manually with your own breath. This may work a few times before too much helium has escaped.
Q. I have just received my balloon and it looks deflated. What can I do?
A. Balloons may look deflated in the cold, but once they are in a warm area they will return to being fully inflated. This is due to the helium contracting and expanding.
Q. Can I have my balloon re-inflated?
A. Yes. Your foil can be re-inflated over and over again providing you keep it in good condition by storing it flat. Do not keep it in contact with things that may rub against it or cause it to tear. Do not fold too often as this will wear away the foil.
Q. I want to send a balloon abroad. How can I do this?
A. We are only able to send inflated balloons to mainland UK. If you would like it sent elsewhere, we can send it uninflated. Your recipient will then need to get the balloon inflated themselves.
